Welcome to Lauren Carr Communications

My name is Lauren Carr. I’m a freelance fundraising writer with 14 years of professional experience in development communications and marketing, publications management, grant writing, and more.

As principal founder of Lauren Carr Communications, I have had the privilege of working with a range of academic medical centers, universities, and local community nonprofits to help them create tools that solicit, steward, and celebrate philanthropic donors. I produce funding proposals, grants, stewardship materials, donor newsletters, web copy, case statements, event collateral, and more.

I earned my B.A. in Communications from Simmons College. I live in downtown Lynn with my two cats, Lexie and Lucy, and enjoy participating in the revitalization of my vibrant neighborhood, including serving on the Board of Directors for the local nonprofit Arts After Hours and volunteering as a middle school mentor for Girls Inc. of Lynn.
